WASHINGTON — Are you ready to stand up and move? An initiative from the American Heart Association, National Walking Day is a nationwide effort to highlight the health benefits of walking and get Americans active for at least 30 minutes every day.
I’ve been to all these cities. I grew up in New York (#1), and lived in Minneapolis (#9) for almost a decade. It’s the sense of the city that calls me back. I love to walk, especially when that’s balanced with a quality public transit system, and a safe way to get around on two wheels.
