The coming implosion of big box retail implies tremendous opportunities for young people to make a livelihood in the imperative rebuilding of local economies.
Ahhhh, I only wish it were so. It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out. I’d like to believe that “Local is the new Walmart”, but that’s yet to be realized. What’s your take on the economic implications of the credit crunch for mega-retailers?
